Germany has been noticeably proactive in its quest to stage Covid-compliant live shows and events to attempt to get some of the industry moving again and people used to going out and about. One of these was the Berlin Waldbühne “Back to Live” Concerts, a socially distanced event concept running throughout September at the city’s famous open-air venue organised by promoter Semmel Concerts Entertainment GmbH.

The 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee final week whittled nearly 250 genius spellers from across the USA and around the world down to 10 super spellers who spelled off a thrilling live televised finale to the famous contest. The event was staged for the first time in a new venue, the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington DC.

First Robe GigaPointes Rock Southeastern Europe at Jakov Jozinović Zagreb Shows

Mojo Rental Southeast Europe from Croatia were the first company in the Balkans to invest in Robe’s new GigaPointe laser-phosphor source multipurpose luminaire, with a purchase of 24 fixtures. These were delivered – direct from the factory in Czechia – to the get-in of two massive shows at Zagreb Arena for Croatia’s latest pop and internet sensation, Jakov Jozinović.
