Historic Theatre Season Opens in Estonia

Vanemuine Theatre in Tartu, Estonia – the country’s oldest and first Estonian language theatre – celebrated the momentous opening of its 152nd season with an elaborate gala event staged in the city’s main square, with a lighting design created by Tõnis Järs featuring Robe moving lights.

Robe Brings GigaPointe power to ULTRA Europe 2026

Over 250 Robe moving lights – 264 to be precise – including 54 of the brand’s new laser-source GigaPointes – took centre stage at ULTRA Europe 2026, assisting the spectacular visual experience across the festival's Main and RESISTANCE stages in Split, Croatia, ensuring the adrenaline pumped and the serotonin levels peaked in Park Mladeži for three days in July.

Robe T11s Hold Court in Christchurch

Lighting designer Rachel Marlow of Auckland-based visual design studio Filament Eleven 11 used Robe T11 Profiles and T11 Fresnels at The Court Theatre in Christchurch, New Zealand, where she lit two new productions in succession at the end of 2025 and start of 2026.

Robe GigaPointes Celebrate Õllesummer

Õllesummer Festival in Tallinn, Estonia, is one of the biggest beer festivals staged in the Baltics and originally ran annually from the 1990s until 2018, returning in 2024 after a five-year hiatus, since when it’s been more popular than ever. The sunny 2026 event again took place at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, featuring approximately 100 artists, attracting over 100,000 visitors over 4 joyous days of great vibes and superlative performances for music lovers of all ages and tastes.

World firsts are always exciting and invigorating, so when French artist and music producer Michael Canitrot collaborated with show director Romain Pissenem from High Scream and became the first DJ ever to perform at the Statue of Liberty in Upper New York Bay with “Liberty Lights” … Robe lighting was also super-proud to be part of the art!
