The most popular, successful, and long-lasting girl band in Benelux – K3 – are back on the road and enjoying performing live shows again to their enthusiastic young fanbase, complete with a slick streamlined and tightly choreographed show produced by Studio 100, with lighting designed by Jeroen Opsteyn from creative practice Painting with Light (PWL) who worked closely with choreographer, Tommy Gryson.
Phish delivered a fantastic summer tour experience for fans in North America, uniting another highly talented collaborative lighting team of Chris Kuroda, longtime lighting designer for Phish, and associate designer Andrew “Gif” Giffin, who have created a dynamic and eye-catching design with the help of 72 x Robe Tetra2 moving LED bars and 60 x Robe Spiiders.
Not that Medellin needs putting ‘on the map’ of course, but the Colombian reggaeton superstar and the city’s very own pretty boy / dirty boy sold out its Atanasio Girardot stadium in a matter of nanoseconds for this one-off homecoming show that was as spectacular as it was popular, complete with an amazing lightshow created by Alain Corthout using over 200 Robe moving lights.
The Warsaw branch of Brill AV Media, a proactive, fast-growing company specialising in B2B events and conference productions as well as AV systems integration / installation, has invested in more Robe moving lights for its equipment inventory, with the purchase of LEDWash 600+s, Tetra2s and Pointes from Robe’s Polish distributor, Prolight.
Indie groove band Goose’s ‘Dripfield’ US summer tour united the passion and talents of two lighting professionals – Andrew Goedde and Tony Caporale – who with the assistance of some Robe Tetra2 moving LED battens among other lights, have created a unique, eye-catching look as the band delights fans across America.
Copenhagen’s Bellevue Theatre asked lighting designer Mark P Jones to create a practical and versatile lighting scheme to facilitate their recent touring version of “A Column of Fire”, a musical production based on Ken Follet’s gripping work encapsulating politics, passion, religious divisions and other 16th-century melodrama of the moment. It was initially staged at the theatre in 2019, directed by Mads M Nielsen with set designed by Benjamin la Cour and lit by Mikael Sylvest.
