GlasGLOW3 was a truly magical illuminated trail event, full of fun and fantasy, conceived and produced by event specialist itison and staged at Glasgow Botanic Gardens. It ran for two and a half weeks in October and November featuring a fully Covid-compliant 1.5 kilometre socially distanced walking trail featuring numerous highly imaginative lighting works, installations, and adventures!

“My Light Shines On” was a stunning large-scale light art installation designed by Kate Bonney and Simon Hayes from Lightworks, commissioned by the world’s leading performing arts festival, Edinburgh International Festival, to mark what would have been the opening weekend of Edinburgh’s 2020 Festival Season.
Colours of Ostrava is usually the largest multi-genre live music and performance festival in the Czech Republic and one of the most popular events on the European festival calendar, offering 22 stages of diverse and vibrant entertainment across four days in mid-July. It is staged in the stunning raw industrial environment of the former Dolní Vitkovice (DOV) steelworks – now tastefully reimagined as an important cultural and heritage centre – near Ostrava in the north-east of the country.
‘Lux Partum’ – ‘emission of light’ in Latin – was a beautifully sculpted interactive lighting installation and live stream staged at the Motorwerk event space in Berlin, created by lighting and show designer Chris Moylan and his team.
Robe iPointes helped welcome 2020 in Boston as part of the city’s spectacular annual “First Night Boston” event, for which locally-based Port Lighting lit several buildings and installations in the heart of one of Boston’s busiest public walkways, Copley Square.
Robe’s new IP65 rated iPointe moving lights were prominent among lighting fixtures on the main stage at this year’s Elements Festival, a 2-day showcase of great vibes and fabulous house music - techno and tech house to future house, hardstyle and EDM - in a beautiful amusement park at Dormettingen, 80km southwest of Stuttgart, Germany.
Robe celebrated 25 years with style and flair at Prolight+Sound Frankfurt 2019 with its largest and most dynamic booth to date – also one of the biggest in the exhibition – which provided a dramatic backdrop for the show-stopping finale of the “Lost Worlds” trilogy of live shows, complete with seven dancers, a specially compiled soundtrack and over 300 of the newest Robe moving light fixtures.
