Robe America’s new 20,000 square feet warehouse and head office building in LA is taking shape, and is on schedule to be occupied and fully operational by May. The new facility will be equipped with the latest IT and computerised stock systems currently available.

This follows hot on the heels of the announcement of the formation of Robe America at the end of 2002, part of Czech Republic-based Robe Show Lighting’s drive to set up it’s own direct sales network.

Robe America is a joint venture between Robe Show Lighting and American investors who are well versed in lighting products. Robe America will be the exclusive North American distributor of Robe Show Lighting products.

The facility will be dedicated to the sales and distribution of Robe intelligent lighting products, which are manufactured in the Czech Republic.

Robe products are fast gaining a reputation for being the best engineered, most fully featured and cost-effective lighting fixtures in the moving light market. With products suitable for every area of professional lighting – from architectural and retail to club installations, live and theatre applications to restaurants and bars, Robe has a product for every occasion.

Robe America will keep a large stock of Robe’s extensive range of current products, and delivery turnaround will be fast, and efficient. The new building will also offer a large, comprehensively stocked demo facility and showroom, where users and specifiers can get hands on with the equipment.

Robe Show Lighting’s MD Josef Valchar comments,

“It’s essential for us to have a flexible facility in the US to ensure prompt service and good product availability. When we started looking around for suitable buildings, we soon decided it was easier to build our own from the ground up! That way we can have it exactly as we want and need!”

This press release was issued by Louise Stickland on behalf of Robe Show Lighting. For more info, please contact Louise on +44 (9)1865 202679 or +44 (0)7831 329888 or E-mail louise@loosplat.com
