A total of 36 Robe ColorWash 1200 ATs were in action on the recent Eros Ramazzotti "Calma Apparante" European arena tour, which saw the Italian superstar deliver the fruits of his latest album to yet more sold out gigs over a 2 month period.

Lighting designer was Baz Halpin – one of the UK’s brightest ‘rising stars’, and lighting director and operator on the tour was Theo Cox, an experienced programmer and also an LD in his own right.

The Robe fixtures were supplied by L’Aquilla based lighting and sound contractors Agora. They were dotted across front, middle and back over-stage trusses for maximum coverage, and used heavily for a variety of wash effects – including big back-lighting swoops and flourishes and spectacular ‘beam technology’ looks.

It was the first time Theo Cox has used Robes. He comments that they were “Bright, very reliable and did the job extremely well”.
